Nestled in rolling rural Northamptonshire, Pitsford Water offers something for everyone. A lovely blend of woodland, meadow and grassland, there are stunning views over the water, making it a great setting for walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, watersports and birdwatching.
And with a well-marked, hard-surfaced seven-mile waterside track, you’ll have a great day out whatever your ability. In partnership with Brixworth Country Park, just a stone’s throw away, we’re the ideal spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or a family day out.
Where to Eat
A small selection of snacks and drinks are available from the Pitsford Water Fishing Lodge.
If you’re looking for something more comprehensive, try The Willow Tree Café at the nearby Brixworth Country Park. With a licensed bar and a wide range of hot and cold snacks and refreshments on offer, it’s the perfect place to take a break.
We have three public car parks, so there is space for everyone. Pitsford Water is open every day except Christmas Day.

- Brixworth Country Park, Northampton Road, Brixworth, Northamptonshire, NN6 9DG

Day tickets relate to individual car parks but season tickets, valid in all of the Pitsford Water car parks, can be bought from Anglian Water outlets or Brixworth Country Park.

- Anglian Water Annual pass £40
Tickets are valid at all main car parks and car park closing times are advertised at entrances. Vehicles still parked after closing time will be locked on site until the following morning.
Please note, the fees we raise are invested back in the park so we can conserve more habitats and improve the facilities you use during your visits.
Pitsford Water Park is open daily 364 days a year from 9am until dusk. Please check the car park open times at the entrance to every car park for daily opening hours
Pitsford Water has suitable parking for motorhomes. Car parks may be fitted with entrance barriers that allow for the extra height of motorhomes, so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting in or out. Follow these simple guidelines:
- please observe the car parking charges which are the same for motorhome.
- please be aware of the car park closing times as overnight parking is not permitted.
