Pitsford has again fished very well this week with incredible hatches reported and the fish responding. Buzzers have been top of the Trouts menu and dries have come into play in the afternoon with a lit cloud cover.
Over the weekend with the wind dropping away there has been some patches of algae reported so find clear water. The main basin is clear and there are plenty of fish along the dam, off the Pines and along Sailing club bank.
Floating or Midge tip lines have been the best approach and finding the feeding depth has been crucial, between 3-5 feet down seeming to be the feeding zone.
There are more Shrimp now beginning to show around the margins with Ghimps and other imitation patterns starting to pick up some nice fish.
Temperatures this coming week look good so the buzzer activity should continue.
