Quality Browns to 8lb 12oz and Rainbows to 5lb+ were reported on these methods
Those fishing small lures are using various coloured boobies , blobs etc, how ever bigger lures, Humungus are netting big fish with A superb brown of 10lb 8oz caught by "Top rod" Toff Crowther.

So many fish seen moving throughout the day with virtually all the way along from Church bay to fantasy island (South shore) and Whitwell frontage to Sykes lane  North shore respectively. A lot of fish , very similar to last season, are moving in less a couple of feet of water!!

Prospects
Very good, Fly life is excellent, with good buzzer hatches, a few olives,, with a number of May fly seen on the water recently,
Shrimp /snails & beetles very much still on the menu, so things looking very good!
