Fish 826 (Season 7,128) Returns 125 (1,080) Rod average 6.6 (6.6)

The superb buzzer fishing continues on Pitsford with a rod average for the week of 6.6.

The highlight of the week was a magnificent 12lb 2oz Brown taken by Oliver Davies. This capped a great week for big Browns with several other specimens reported between 5-8lb. Phil Jordan caught and returned two Browns over 7lb while Mr Blakeston returned a Brown of 6lb 4oz. There have been literally dozens of Rainbows over 4lb caught but the biggest of the week was a fish of 6lb 2oz caught by Phil Jordan. Other good specimens were caught by Simon Bosher who had Rainbows of 4lb 4oz and 4lb as well as returning another nine. He fished both dries and buzzers to tempt his fish.

The small half of the lake has really turned on with good hatches of buzzer most days. In the main body of water the best areas have been Sermons, Gravels, Pines and Sailing Club.

Buzzers, diawls and crunchers fished on floating or midge tip lines are working. Static buzzers under an indicator are working as is the washing line.

The bank is fishing along Duffers and Bog Bay, with fish showing in good numbers along the Cliffs.
