Jon Marshall

A message to all anglers from Jake Williams Head of Parks & Conservation

Dear Angler

As a customer and supporter of Anglian Water fisheries I am writing to inform you that after 34 years as Fisheries Manager, initially with Roger Thom and latterly Anglian Water, Jon Marshall will be retiring at the end of December 2019.

Jon has been hugely influential in the development of our fisheries achieving so much over the years, delivering a great service to our customers and championing improvements to develop and improve our anglers’ experience, from getting their breakfast on arrival to leaving safely at the end of the day.

Over the past 3 years Jon has been working with us on a part time basis to help ensure that the park teams have had a comprehensive handover.  He has worked closely with our Head Rangers and Ranger teams to pass over his extensive knowledge and experience that will ensure the fisheries, already regarded as amongst the best in Europe, remain in great hands for the next 34 years!

I am sure Jon will stay in touch and see many of you around the fisheries. We will be organising a formal send off for Jon in mid January. If you would like more information please email fishing@anglianwater.co.uk and we will send you details.

In the meantime we offer him our sincere thanks for all his efforts and energy and the very best wishes for the future.

Yours Sincerely

Jake Williams
