Weekly rod average 5.62 (season 8.31), Taken & released 4578 (season 22725), total catch returns 814 (season 2733), stocked week 3700 (season total 41183)

Still very good numbers of fish feeding VERY blatantly close in, Even with the cold Easterly winds at the moment making no difference whatsoever.

Be very weary, as there are numbers of specimen Browns in general feeding, along with a few overwintered Rainbows amongst this years very fit stock fish.

Shrimp appears to be the man contender on the diet, however reports of fish full of buzzers (Mainly small) but in good numbers, Anglers last week also reported early Sedge hatches, with some fish with numbers of the pupae inside stomach contents, expect fish to start feeding on this years "Pin fry" shoals of Bream, and Roach in masses being witnessed spawning in the last few weeks, so more added surface activity to follow!

Surface patterns, Various Dries, Hare's ear, Shipmans, Bob's bit's, Yellow Owl, working.

Suspender (Sugar cube) Hare's ear, Foam backed Shrimp patterns, also taking their toll,

Nymphs to try, Small Black buzzer, Cruncher (Pheasant tail) Diawl Bach
