Ravensthorpe week ending 10th March 2024

Rod Average - 6.0

Despite the water still carrying colour, Ravensthorpe is still fishing well.  As well as early season favourites such as blobs and lures, there are naturals present such as buzzers and blood worm.

The bung has been a deadly method, with buzzers, blood worm and weighted blobs.  For those pulling, often the fish are being caught relatively high in the water, with intermediates at times working well.  Due to the colour, black lures - such as black snakes are advisable.

Outlook - it won't be long before the buzzer fishing is in full swing - if the colour drops out then the fishing will get better still.
