Grafham Water week ending 11th December

FISH WEEK RETURNS ROD AVERAGE 2.7

Fishing at Grafham has been hard going over the past week. This is largely due to rising water levels putting a lot of fish out of range for visiting bank anglers.

Boat fishing has still been producing steady sport for those who have been out, but the action is not as prolific as it was a few weeks back. Best method has been a white snake fished on a floating line in the main basin. Shrimp patterns have also been doing fish along the north shore and In front of the seat, but you need to be fishing further out than years gone past.

Predator fishing has been steady and some fantastic perch to 4lb plus are now coming out on a weekly basis. Zander and Pike are proving to be slightly more elusive but with the frosts now setting in we fully expect the pike fishing to improve over the coming weeks.
