Looking for a venue for your next event in the heart of the country? Be it a corporate event, a wedding, a training session or a meeting, Rutland Water can cater to a wide variety of functions. If you haven't considered this location before, this article will run you through the reasons why it should be on your list.

Great facilities

Depending on the size of your group and the purpose of the event, you can choose between the Bird Watching Centre for corporate events or the Normanton Church for weddings.

The former is suitable for both large and small business gatherings. For bigger groups, the Education Centre can be set up either in an amphitheatre style or a boardroom layout for high-profile meetings. Modern AV facilities are available for presentations and the refreshments station will be at your disposal all day long. There is also a small meeting room for a more intimate setting.

Normanton Church

If you're looking for a truly inspiring and unique venue to impress your guests, look no further that the Normanton Church. Used primarily as a wedding venue, it can be hired for other types of events, too. It is fully equipped with presentation technology and catering services are also available.

The church itself also makes a stunning wedding location for those who fancy a more traditional wedding venue. Many couples choose it due to its location close to the water and its classical and minimalist architecture. It can host up to 100 people and can be hired for civil ceremonies. An added bonus of the place is that you can choose between the front or the back of the church for your vows. Our event planners will be on hand to help you with any aspect of your ceremony. Wedding celebrations can carry on into the night at a marquee that can be set up in the park overlooking the water.

Have you got an outdoor event idea? We can accommodate sports and charity events along the shores of the lake, so when we say we cater to a wide range of events, we really mean it!
