Rutland Water Local Clubs

While many people are attracted to angling by the peace and solitude it offers, it can also be a great way to meet new people and become part of a like-minded community.

Be part of something…

Joining a fishing club is a great way to make friends, share news and pick up hints, tips and tricks that have been learnt the hard way! It also gives you the chance to test your skills and compete in club competitions!

All our big trout waters have fishing clubs associated with them. At Rutland Water that includes Rutland Water Fly Fishers.

Some clubs offer free initial membership to anglers who have attended an Anglian Water beginner course. Click here to find out more about the course and how to book. Members of local clubs are also eligible to fish in the Federation of Midland Fly Fishers qualifying matches for a place on the England team.

Fishing, walking, cycling, water sports
