Pitsford Water Local Clubs

No matter your level of experience, joining a fishing club can lead to greater enjoyment of the sport.

Clubs

There are a number of good clubs in the region, so follow the links to learn more about how to become a member, club competitions, winter event programmes, club news and more.

What activities does club life involve?

Each of Anglian Water’s big trout waters has an associated club and hosts club matches. Club outings can venture further afield and they all run comprehensive winter programmes.

And, as a club member, you’re eligible to compete for a place in the England team via the Federation of Midland Fly Fishers’ qualifying matches.

What are fishing clubs like?

They’re really friendly and open to new members. And some even offer free initial membership to anglers who have completed an Anglian Water beginner course.

You can take it as seriously as you like. For some, it’s mainly a social thing but others get a kick out of being part of a competitive team.
