Pitsford Water week ending 2 December

Fish 117 (Season 15,995) Returns 38 (3,179) Rod average 3.1 (5.03)

Good fish continue to come out of Pitsford from both boat and bank. Browns are still showing well with several fish around the 6-8lb mark being reported with numerous Rainbows around the 4lb mark being caught.

One boat pair fishing the Sailing Club bank had a great day fishing and caught on white minkies, taking Rainbows over 4lb.

Bank anglers have enjoyed the best sport as the fish have been feeding in the margins. Some of the best bank areas include Siling Club, Cliffs and Gravels.

If fishing from a boat then Sailing Club, Pitsford Creek and Pines are worth a try.

Please note that Pitsford Lodge is open 8am to 9am from 1 December. To book boats please either telephone 01604 781350 and leave a message or email fishing@anglianwater.co.uk

Day boat prices are now reduced for the winter – the Winter boat is available from 9am to sunset £21, single man £15.
