Despite the changeable weather conditions Ravensthorpe continues to fish well. Rob Edmunds had three days at Ravensthorpe this week targeting the big fish. He was successful with Rainbow trout of 16lb, 13lb, 12lb 10oz and 8lb. Rob had a total of 45 fish over the three days.
Mid Northants held their floating line match on Sunday with 24 anglers landing a total of 146 fish for a rod average of 6.0.
Richard Webb won with a bag weight of 8lb 5oz which included a lovely 5lb Rainbow. Hank Needham took second spot with a bag weight of 7lb 7oz which included a 5lb Rainbow. Third place went to Ashley Cooper with a total weight of 5lb 7oz.
