Latest news from Ravensthorpe
The fishing at Ravensthorpe has been a mixed bag this week. Mid week the water was producing good numbers of fish which were a good size and fighting well. Anglers were catching on dries or lures primarily and found drifting across the middle was productive and the best area to catch.
As the week has progressed the fishing has been less active and with the change in weather along with strong winds has seen the fishing slow considerably. Hopefully it will stabilise soon.
The bank is a challenge and there is still a lot of aquatic vegetation. The dam is not attracting many anglers.
