Ravensthorpe week ending 26th May 2024

Rod Average - 4.0

Ravensthorpe continues to fish well as we head into June.  The fish are starting to really spread out through the lake and typically, we are seeing more anglers having success with dries.

Dries that have caught have been CDCs / yellow Owl, Big reds and Shipmans.  Nymphs of course are still catching, with Buzzer and Diawl bachs and Hare's ear.  Some anglers have also reported success with lures such as snakes.

At the weekend we hosted All Abilities Friendly Fly Fishers, with their 10 boats fishing to a very respectable rod average of 5.45.
