Ravensthorpe has produced some astonishing catches with a rod average of 9.2 for the week. We have also seen some superb fish in recent weeks including a 16lb 4oz Rainbow and several others to 8lb. Fish are feeding heavily on black and green buzzers.
Fish have succumbed to just about all methods, from fishing blobs and snakes on Di7’s to floating line, straight buzzering in the top 6 feet. Fishing the bung has also been very productive.
Best boat areas: Island and central drifting.
Best bank areas: North bank and platforms.
