Fish 387 (season 3,035) Returns 103 (498) Rod average 3.8 (6.1)

Floating lures and black or olive buzzers are accounting for a lot of the rainbows this week. The bung method has been working well, finding fish holding out 10-12 feet down in the water.  Crunchers, diawl bachs and blobs are also working well.

Mr Cram and Mr Gibbons shared a boat and caught 28 fish, whilst John Smith and Mike Osgood had 21 fish to their boat.

Anglers are finding fish around the areas of the Island and the Domes from a boat and Platforms 4-12 on the bank. Most people are working hard to find and land their fish in water that is fairly cold but clear at the moment.

Weekly stats

Best Rainbow: 4lb 7oz.

Best boat areas: Island, Domes.

Best bank areas: Platforms 4-12.
