Fish week 128 (Season 8,056) Returns 29 (1,325) Rod average 4.5 (6.1)

The fishing at Pitsford has steadily improved through the week. The weekly rod average is a healthy 4.5 and over last weekend there were several reports of catches well into double figures and the rod average was more in the region of 7.5.

Floating lines were best with fabs or small boobies on the point and nymphs or droppers, small diawls, crunchers and hares ear patterns were working well with lots of fish around the dam, sailing club and main basin.

The bank has also begun to improve with fish being caught on various patterns fished through the top, fry patterns and foam daddies are doing best.

The Gravels, Sailing Club bank and Cliffs have all produced from the bank.
