Fish 632 (Season 10,779) Returns 158 (1,817) Rod average 4.0 (5.93)

Anglers have enjoyed another good week on Pitsford with great quality grown on fish showing in numbers and Brown trout making an appearance again.

The rod average for the week is 4 with the biggest fish this week a 7lb 8oz Brown caught by Dean Drew. Another quality Brown of 5lb was caught by Mr Latham. The biggest Rainbow of the week was a fish of 4lb 8oz taken by John Pearson, with numerous other fish around 3½lb – 4lb caught.

The bank has fished well with damsel and hares ear patterns working well on floating lines. Sailing Club bank, Pitsford Creek and the Flats are worth a go.

Boat anglers  have caught fish around the Causeway, Narrows and in the main basin with nymphs on a washing line method the best tactic.

The level and quality of the water are excellent and the water is full of food with damsel, snail and pin fry all on the menu.
