Pitsford Water week ending 25 July

The fish at Pitsford have been seen in various locations but don’t seem to be feeding and they are proving almost impossible to catch. This has been very challenging for both bank and boat anglers. The best fish of the week was a 4lb 8oz Brown. This lovely fish was taken on a fast sinking line and black humungus.  

With the weather cooling down it is hoped that fishing will improve. For the time being the best methods appear to be lure or fry patterns fished deep and slow on fast sink lines.
