The fishing at Pitsford continues to be frustrating and difficult for most.
The stock fish that went in two weeks ago seem to have not switched on yet and the more resident fish are preoccupied in the margins feeding on Shrimp and Snail.
The recent rain has brought a few Daddy long legs onto the water so this might be another food source for the fish to target over the coming weeks.
There is little sign of any significant fry activity yet and without doubt the most productive methods involve fishing flies high in the water and around the marginal weed beds.
