Pitsford Water week ending 21 November

Fish 27 (Season 9,979) Returns 8 (1,834) Rod average week 3.4(5.4)

The bank fishing at Pitsford remains steady with some good fish coming to flies fished in the margins, in particular shrimp and snail patterns, with fry patterns also producing. Some fish have been reported at Gorse and on Bog Bay and Duffers.

The boat fishing remains fairly slow, we are hearing of Browns in most areas with several nice fish up to around 6-7lb being caught and released on various methods.

Expect the fish to be still in the margins for the next few weeks as the weed clears and exposes food in the form of shrimp, corixa and fry. Floating or tip lines fished with imitative patterns will catch the better fish.

Please note throughout November the lodges will be open 8am-2pm
