Fish 118 (season 2,679) Returns 41(663) Rod average 3.0(4.0)
It’s been a steady week at Pitsford Water - fish are still coming to buzzer/nymph tactics.
The Small Half has continued to produce some nice fish and there are now good numbers of damsel nymphs showing around the pontoon so damsel patterns are worth a try.
Plenty of fish in the 3-4lb range are coming out in the now gin clear water and they are giving a good account of themselves. Fish are spread out across the lake with reports of fish along the Pines, Flats and Brixworth Bay. Bank sport is not very consistent with fish tending to move out into deeper water early on.
Predator fishing is now under way at Pitsford for both fly and lure anglers.
Best boat areas: Across the lake, including the Pines, Flats and Brixworth Bay
Mid week boat winner: Michael Gasper
