Pitsford Water week ending 14 November

Fish 103 (Season 9,952) Returns 18 (1,826) Rod average week 5.7 (5.45)

Please note Pitsford Lodge will be closed on Wednesday 17 November for staff training. The fishery will be open as normal, but all boat bookings will need to be pre-paid, so no walk ins on the day.

Anglers wanting to purchase a bank ticket for Wednesday can use the vendor hut.

The bank fishing from Pitsford Creek bank and the Flats is so good that it has brought the rod average for the winter up to a very respectable 5.7. Anglers are catching good numbers of shrimp feeding fish in these areas while other areas are less productive.

The boat fishing remains more challenging as the fish seem to be feeding tight into the bank.

The Pines, Cliffs and Stone Barn are also fishing well in the margins with lots of fit fish in the 3-4lb bracket being reported.  Boat anglers are finding the best sport around Rigbys, Saling Club frontage and the dam with floating and intermediate lines best.

Please note throughout November the lodges will be open 8am-2pm (with the exception of 17 November when Pitsford Lodge is closed).
