Fish 399 (Season 2,561) Returns 83 (622) Rod average 4.8 (4.1)

With a rod average of 4.8 for the week Pitsford Water is fishing more consistently with fish starting to feed in the upper layers as the water warms. Anglers are reporting lots of quality fish in the three to four pound bracket with fish up to 7lb. Season ticket holder Dave Anderson fished the small half and netted 48 fish with several quality overwintered fish up to 6lb. Fish were caught on buzzer patterns.

Phil Jordan had another great day with a Brown estimated to be over 7lb returned and a rainbow around 6lb.

Messrs Edge, Muir, Watson and Cuthbert all enjoyed their group holiday package, returning 50 fish during their day at Pitsford.

The water is warming up and the bank is beginning to fish well so the coming weeks should see some quality fish being tempted on buzzer and nymph tactics.
