Anglers have enjoyed a fantastic start to the new season at Ravensthope.
Mick Griffin and Graham Smith had an incredible day day with 70 fish to the boat. Rob Keber and Tony Dighton had 50 fish to the boat, many 4lb plus fish, with a 13lb 7oz Rainbow for Tony and a 14lb 2oz fish for Rob.
Bank fishing has also been good. Wayne Coleman had a 11lb 14oz Rainbow from the dam.
Best methods have been floating or intermediate lines with black and green tadpoles, Pitsford Pea, blobs, black buzzers, crunchers and diawl bachs.
Best Rainbow: 14lb 2oz Rainbow taken by Rob Keber.
Best boat areas: All areas producing fish.
Best bank areas: Dam; in front of platforms 4 & 5.
Midweek boat winner: J Vyse of Buckingham.
