Grafham Water week ending 19 June

FISH WEEK 208 , RETURNS 53, ROD AVERAGE 3.9

Despite the hot weather and unfavourable conditions, Grafham has continued to provide consistent sport throughout the week. Furthermore, the quality of fish has been fantastic, with many anglers reporting an abundance of fish in the 3-4lb range.

The best area has been Valley Creek, but Gaynes Cove and Plummers are also worth a drift. Best methods have been changing almost daily so bring plenty of options, including bright lures and sinking lines.

Bank fishing has been slow but the harbour arms continue to provide fish, particularly at first and last light.

The rod average this week is a very respectable 3.9 and the biggest fish reported was an 8lb 2oz rainbow.
