Grafham Water week ending 16th June 2024

Rod average - 4.0

The unseasonable weather continued through last week, we saw everything from cold rain, wind, thunder, and lightning to mild sunny days.  Because of this the water temperature is still reasonable for mid-June, so fish are up in the water, with dries and nymphs fished washing line style

Areas that have fished well have been deep water point, G buoy and in front of the dam, with Gaynes cove perhaps somewhat quieter than previous weeks.  Bank anglers seem to be doing well at first and last light, with fish then moving out into deeper water.

As well as the forementioned dries and washing line, Damsels are also catching fish all other the lakes.  Grafham remains clear, with good water levels for this time of year

Fishing, walking, cycling, water sports
