Fly Fishing Boat Package

Our boat packages include a boat and fishing permit for the duration of your break.  The permits included are full 8 fish kill permits, per person, per day, however these permits also come with unlimited catch and release, so you do not have to take any fish if you don’t want to.  We have gutting room and freezer facilities at Rutland, Grafham and Pitsford. 

The boats come with a petrol engine, fully fuelled each day, along with nets, a drogue and oars (due to biosecurity you are not permitted to use your own net or drogue whilst boat fishing our fly waters).  You are permitted to bring your own life jacket; however, we also supply these free of charge if you do not have your own.  Your car parking is also included in the boat package.  At Rutland and Grafham you will take a car park ticket on arrival, please bring this into the lodge and we will validate this for the duration of your booking.  During the duration of your stay, you will also receive 10% off all tackle purchases in the lodge (excluding pre-marked sale) and don’t forget we will price match any online retailer on items over £25 (t and c’s apply). **Please note during your stay, you will be given a different boat number each day.

Please call one of our lodges and they will be able to book the package over the phone as well as taking payment in full.  Any of the lodges below can make the booking, regardless of the venues you wish to fish.  Please note that when you call to make the booking, we will need to take some details.  This will include the name, full postal address, email address and mobile number.   You will also need your card to hand in order to make payment in full.

Don't forget that we also have in house cafe's above the lodges at Rutland and Grafham water. Both cafe's open from 10am for breakfast, with Rutland opening from 8am at weekends. In peak season, the cafes are open most of the day , so why not bring the boat back in the middle of the day for a spot of lunch, refuelled to go back out in the afternoon.

Prefer fishing from the bank? Get a full week of fishing at Rutland, Grafham and Pitsford and for just £192 per person, which includes a daily limit of 4-fish plus catch and release and 10% off any tackle purchased at our fishing lodges during your stay. You do not need to book a week’s bank fishing; this can be arranged at a fishing lodge of your choice on your first day.  As with the boat package, we would look to validate your parking in the lodge on the first day of your trip, so please bring your car park ticket into the lodge.  Our shop staff will then also advise you about access and timings and help you to decide which bank to fish based on the weather.

Coarse fishing breaks are available at Taverham Mill on the main lake and along our stretch on the picturesque River Wensum. The lakes hold carp, tench, roach, rudd, bream and pike, you might get really lucky and catch a barbel on the river.
